05:29 pm [Link]	Dear Yuletide Writer First, the most important thing I want to tell you, Yuletide Writer, is that I will seriously LOVE anything you write. Anything written in one of the small fandoms that I love just enriches the earth! Second, I apologize If the stuff I wrote seems to box you in. Just take it and run with it, I’m sure that your creativity + our fandom = sheer, unmitigated fabulousness! Third, I love the characters that I’ve listed, and anything that you do with them will be satisfying, I am certain. If you are just not feeling my optional prompts—remember, they’re optional. If you have a wildly different impulse—go for it! That’s what this fest is all about. In the same vein, if instead of the crime plots, you want to write me a character study or a quiet interior piece, please feel free! I’m sure that it will take me totally by surprise and give me more depth and insight into my darling fandoms. Fourth, I prefer slash, though it isn’t necessary for the fic: you can go for the male bonding or buddy fic or bromance. I would request, however, that you do not write these characters in het relationships. I also begin to retch at fluff happening between my ‘manly’ characters (okay, perhaps not so much with the Nightmare lot….) Finally, thank you so much for doing this. I am so excited to see what you’ve chosen to do with my little obsessions \o/ I also allowed anonymous comments for this post in case you have further questions (or just want to squee with a fellow fan!). Warnings: Non-con, violence (briefly, in beginning); slash; a little angst, a little romance. HBP-compliant. A/N: Byrdie, I tried for more action, but the muse, she kept getting all drowsy and domestic! Hope you still like it. Thanks to Sansa and Empathic Siren for the challenge, to I got Tired of Waiting for hosting this fic, and to all of the participants for the prompts and stories. Written for The Two Broomsticks Fic Challenge. Prompt 12: HP/SS. “So this is what love feels like.” Would like to see Sev being rescued by a protective and powerful Harry who appreciates all his sacrifices & treats him the way he deserves. Bonus points if Harry has to deal with the Ministry, Snape's parents (AUs are fun!), jealous rivals and Manipulative/Evil! Bastard Dumbledore in order to get his man. Happy ending an absolute must. 09:32 pm [Link]	'Harry Potter' Actor to Be Naked on Stage I have always enjoyed watching "child" actors grow and mature on film and stage, and here is our opportunity to do this with our favorite actor! This is an incredibly demanding role, and having seen Daniel develope as Harry, I have no doubts that he will do beautifully as Strang, the disturbed young man who is seeing a psychiatrist because of childhood trauma. I saw this play on Broadway in the 70s (with my mother!) and it was disturbing and powerful. Kudos to Daniel for getting such a role--way to break out of the "kid star" typecasting! 11:25 pm [Link]	Just Your Everyday Potions Class (R, sexual implications) Just Your Everyday Potions Class Wanting, burning, “gagging for it”…… {Add five blades of oatstraw, one every 15 seconds}….. I watch him as he berates a student for dicing, not mincing. I’m so glad it’s not me. How does he do it? Teach the same techniques, potions, theories, year after year after ruddy year? How does he do it while spying on Voldemort, patrolling the halls in the evenings, monitoring detentions, having teas with the Headmaster, training me in Defense, Wandless Magic, Occlumency, and martial arts? {Lower flame under cauldron by half}…..When does he sleep? Does he sleep? Does he take off his robes, take a long, hot shower, slip between soft, silky sheets--- OK, stop this…….down boy, come on, please? down—Down! Focus…. Come on, you can do this….. It’s bad enough that I’m truly weak when it comes to the precision and concentration needed to do well at Potions, but now that I fancy the Potions Master, I really want to impress him. I want to show him that I’m capable of self-control, determination….. Damn, I can’t even keep my rocket down in its launcher, who am I kidding? Oh, Merlin, he’s looking at me with that intense, brooding stare. What does it mean? It’s like concentrated dry ice pouring down my back, freezing and burning me at the same time….Um,…. {Ok, pour in three drops of asphodel tincture}…….. What is he thinking when he’s glaring at me so intently? Has he noticed my little shudder whenever he passes by my desk? When he looked into my cauldron, his robe slid across the back of my hand. I was so overwrought at that point, I thought I’d…. OK, focus. Concentrate….. Look at your potion, look at your potion, oh Hell, he’s standing behind me, his soft breath a frisson of pure, dark, rich—um, air, yes, that’s it--air, wafting over my cock—Damn, it….. Oh shit, OH YES……oh God……… …..oh….. …..oh….. …..oh….. Can he tell? …..Can he smell it? ……. Did I moan? I hope I didn’t stain this robe, it’s the third one in two weeks…………..
